An defenceless teenager, Sarfraz was killed in firing of rangers’ officials in Boat Basin area of the city on Wednesday night. According to the sources, the boy was cruelly shot dead before he was detained by the rangers in the Benazir Bhutto Park. Rangers spoke the media that Sarfraz was concerned in a Dacoity  and killed in meet. In contrast, the heirs of deceased staged a sit-in protest before Chief Minister House, saying the boy was blameless and went to the park for day out. The extra judicial killing of the boy has been fated by several political leaders, human rights, journalists, civil society members of the city. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Interior Minister Rehman Malik regimented action against the rangers’ personnel involved in the killing. The Sindh information minister, Sharjeel Memon has assumed that no mercy will be given away to the culprits.
