Movie Review: Aakrosh a socially inclined flick by Priyadarshan
Aakrosh movie reviews are out for cine buffs who are wondering as to what this multi starring Priyadarshan flick is all about.
Aakrosh that has a star cast of Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Paresh Rawal and Reema Sen deals with the serious social issue of honor killing that not only affects the bride but also affects the groom.
Aakrosh highlights the cast issues that continue to cloud the rural minds and hence bring forth such disruptive practices such as honor killings in our society.
The story of this film centralizes on a young lower cast man who goes visiting his village called Jhanjhar along with his other two friends. Following this the boy is declared missing along with his friends.
Looking into this matter CBI officer Siddhant played by Akshaye Khanna and Pratap played by Ajay Devgan are assigned the investigation task.
The investigation task becomes even more complicated because of the corruption of the local police including the chief officer played by Paresh Rawal. The two actors Ajay and Akshaye have given their best performance in this flick essaying the part of justice seekers for the victims.
Dialogues are power packed and the cinematography of the film is stunning. Bipasha once again plays the deglamourized part of a girl who forms the key person in the entire investigation procedure. Even though her part is not that elaborate however it makes the much needed effect in the films development.
The final verdict for Aakrosh is that the movie is not that usual filmy romantic affair but is rather a movie that has a deep sense which will magnetize the visionary viewers who have an appetite for such serious social issues.
