FIFA World Cup 2010 Schedule
FIFA World cup are being start in June 11 to July 11, 2010 at South Africa,it is the 19th Football world cup. Last World Cup Football was held in Germany in 2006 in which Italy defeated France 5-3 in a penalty shootout in the final, after extra time had finished in a 1-1 draw. In this World Cup 32 teams will be face to face, which are divided into 8 groups, each group contains 4 teams.
Zakumi
It is a official mascot of FIFA World Cup 2010. An anthropomorphised leopard with green hair. His name comes from “ZA”, the international abbreviation for South Africa, and “kumi”, a word that means “ten” in various African languages. The mascot’s colours reflect those of the host nation’s playing strip – yellow and green.
Jabulani:-
It is a name of world cup ball designed by Adidas ,which means “bringing joy to everyone” in isiZulu.
There will be 8 groups in FIFA World Cup 2010. The group Teams are given below ::
