Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye informs the story of a loveable conman Lucky Singh (Abhay Deol). Such is his charm that even the Delhi police are extremely fond of him. The picture is a ride of Lucky from a middle class boy towards becoming a low moment crook towards notoriety and faux somebody and the civilians he encounters within this journey.

Oye Lucky Lucky Oye is a film approximate a Superchor. He is as ordinary as any man on the road. He is as peace as a cow. And majority importantly, he is a robber with a charm, with a style, with flair so natural that he appears heroic. He shall rob everything and whatever right beneath your nose and you would not know it. I would quite go on to say, that Lucky is no fewer than Bond. He is the guy with bright schemes; he is elusive to catch; he is invariably pursued and he obtains what he wants.
From the makers of khosla ka ghosla comes yet another involving film. Dibakar Banerjee portrays a real story with such fact that the audience is coerced to obtain absorbed. From the language, to the inter-personal relationships, to the situational misery and humour, it is all too simple to relate. The film retains a intense Punjabi spice intact. Manjot Singh, whoever dramas young Lucky, contributes to the realism of the film which is quite too beautifully prolonged via Abhay Deol. The cast is refreshing. Manu Rishi dramas Bangali, whoever urgently became one of my pet characters in the film.
