Google Maps Navigation App for Android 2.0 Mobile Phones
Google has officially announced Google Maps Navigation beta app for Android 2.0 devices and Motorola Droid will be the first mobile phone which will get this free GPS application.
Google Maps Navigation app follows highly updated and recent maps and provides turn-by-turn voice guidance. To provide the GPS instructions Google Maps are used by this navigation application and users requires internet connection to use Google Maps Navigation free app on their Android devices.
The upgrade features of Google Maps app are:
- View My Maps
- Transit lines
- Traffic data
- Street View
- Layers feature
- Wikipedia access
- Business information
- Auto route recalculation
