“Sankat City” is one of those rare movies that characters a dozen odd souls, everybody of whom are not just related towards one another but even contribute towards the film’s primary plot.

The film’s biggest assets are the zany humour and also the acting via each and every actor. Pankaj Advani’s story style is terrific and holds you engaged throughout. It is nice debut via the filmmaker. While the former halves breezes hastily, the second gets a little slow but however the picture options up well during the climax. Amongst the most hilarious scenes are Anupam Kher’s sequences with a nervous wreck builder performed via Yashpal Sharma, Kay Kay and Ganpat’s friendly banter, Kay Kay and Rimi’s theft at Yashpal Sharma’s smooth and Kay Kay’s taxi ride with a Sardar taxi driver whom is hunting for his forgotten brother. Ranjit Barot’s contextual melodies is impressive.
Kay Kay Menon, whom acts the command role of a car thief Guru within the picture, is wonderful within essaying the character. It seems that it has become almost a mannerism with him towards grant excellent dramas, whether it is within front of Big B within ‘Sarkar’ or within the presence of veteran Anupam Kher, as is the instance with this flick. His bumbling spirit of a thief, whom shivers at the threat of a gangster, adds comic importance towards the complete venture.
