Janaradhan Wishvanbhar Rane (Paresh Rawal) a widower has expended his life conveying up his two children Chirag (Manoj Joshi) and Gaurav (Akshaye Khanna). Janaradhan has finished everything for their children to convey them up in the best likely kind, ever since they were toddlers. Now when the duos have developed up; Gaurav takes up blame of his father.

They both organise the house chores and their enterprise with best of their abilities. Though he is the junior child, he delicacies his dad like his son. Gaurav is on the guard with the vigilance of a well controlled parent. He yells, intimidates, and battles – even security devices up his dad rarely in order that his prankster best ally Madhav Mathur (Om Puri) who is a divorcee, despairing to get wed, does not ruin him.

Madhav and Janaradhan who are always in search of bride for Madhav forever land up in trouble and every time Gaurav has to bail them out and face the embarrassment.

Gaurav busy managing his business starts getting prank calls from a girl who turns out to be his old college friend Sheekha Kapoor (Genelia D’souza). Sheekha is staying with her guardian Anuradha (Shobana) who is also Paresh’s first love.
