Bhoothnath is the story of a young boy and a ghost. A young Banku (Aman Siddiqui) and Bhoothnath (Amitabh Bachchan), a ghost, become associates and assist each other in various walks of life. Banku and his family transfer into a novel lodging unaware of the sighting that it is haunted. Bhoothnath, the supernatural resident of the lodging is possessive come seal his property and sees the novel tenants as intruders.

He tries to horrify them away, but lastly ends higher becoming associates with the kid. Banku takes it upon himself to uncover the intents behind Bhoothnath’s travelling soul and helps him attain salvation.
